House of Kaver may carry my name, but the values behind it were built long before the first barrel was selected.
They came from family. From watching. From listening. From learning that if you put your name on something, it should mean something.
2019 — THE FIRST SELECTION
ONE BARREL. THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING.
In 2019, we selected our first barrel.
A Knob Creek Single Barrel that would later be known simply as Caramel-19.
When it finally arrived in 2020, the world looked very different.
We released it, and three days later, it was gone.
But something had started.
A curiosity became a passion.
A passion became a pursuit.
And one barrel became the first of many.
THE HOUSE DIDN'T EXIST YET.
BUT ITS FOUNDATION WAS ALREADY BEING LAID.
THE HOUSE WAS NEVER BUILT
FOR ONE GENERATION.
What started with a love for whiskey became something more.
A collection of stories. Memories shared around a table. Bottles opened for the right moment—and others saved for one still to come.
Over time, I realized the bottles were never the most important part.
It was the people we shared them with.
The conversations that lasted long after the glass was empty.
The stories people still tell years after a bottle was gone.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just building a collection.
I was building something to pass down.
ONE DAY,
THE HOUSE
WILL BECOME PART OF HIS STORY TOO.
Jora may never care about whiskey the way I do.
And that's okay.
The legacy was never about the bottles.
It's about building something with purpose. Standing behind your name—and what it stands for. And leaving the next generation with something worth carrying forward—whatever they choose to make of it.
What he builds with it…
